    In digital marketing, Facebook is one of the Social media network. It is the one of the largest social network in the world. Facebook advertising platform lets you to zero in and specify the type of people you want to find. You can find the people by targeting their location, demographics, and interests. Facebook isn’t just powerful. It’s also flexible. No matter what type of company you are running, it has many different options for marketing that you can tailor your efforts for marketing to fit your company, your budget, and your time constraints.

    Yes, it may take time to get to know all of the features, but it’s going to be worth it. Facebook is still growing at a fast pace, and everyday it becomes more indispensable part of the social media marketing.

    How Are You Going To Market on Facebook?

    It (Facebook) has three tools (pages, ads, and groups)that anybody can use. Every options has its own purpose, and can be combined for a greater reach.

    Pages : Facebook pages are similar to profiles, except for businesses, organizations, and public figures. Users can “Like” a page, it means that they are going to automatically receive updates from that page in their news feed that they “Liked”. Pages can be liked by anybody, without a requirement that the page creator needs to accept.

    Advantages: Facebook pages are free and easy to set up.

    How are you going to Market with Pages?

    Profile Photo and Cover Image: The profile photo is going to be your logo
    “About” Section : You should make sure you put good information here, telling people about what you’re company does, why you’re different from other companies, and those other interesting details.
    Tabs : Facebook allows you to use up not more than 10 application tabs, it is known to Facebook admins as the “Favorites” section. Photos and Likes are the required tabs. You are able to move the Likes tab wherever you want, but Photos should remain as the first. Social media is about engagement, so the more (and the more closely) you get the people that likes your page to engage with you, the better marketer you are going to be.
    Post Information that is useful on Your Wall : Everyone who has “Liked” your page will be able to see what you are posting on your wall in their news feeds, just like when you post something on your personal Profile. Make sure what you’re posting on your wall is going to be useful to people that “Liked” your page.

    Ads : Facebook offers an awesome targeted platform for advertising. You can make ads targeted at specific geographic areas, ages, education levels, and even the types of devices that is used for browsing.

    Advantages: Ads do have powerful targeting parameters.

    Disadvantages: Ads can get expensive, that is depending on your goals though.

    Users Can Hide Your Ad :

    Facebook used to give the option to “Like” any advertisement on Facebook. But not anymore. People can “Like” an advertisement or they can hide the ad. When closing an ad, Facebook will ask the user to specify why they didn’t like it.

    Customize Your Ads :

    Some big advantage to tightly-targeted ads is that you can make many different kinds of ads for different demographic groups.

    Groups : Facebook groups are similar to forums, but with additional features that pages and profiles have. You can make groups that can relate to your industry or product offerings. It is a way to reach out to your potential customers.

    Advantages: Groups are free and the engagements are at high levels.

    Disadvantages: Groups can consume a lot of your time.
